About Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit

The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) is the central body responsible for combating financial crimes such as money laundering, terrorism financing, and illicit financial flows. It collects, analyzes, and disseminates financial intelligence to law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities. The NFIU works closely with domestic and international stakeholders to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) standards.
